It's an autoclave which is used for sterilizing culture media for growing bacteria in lab.Material ia kept for 15 minutes at 121 degrees for complete sterilizing.

An autoclave is used in sterilizing culture media for growing bacteria.I don't know whether it is expensive but I think schools which offer biotechnology as a stream have it..

Oh! I thought you were stirring food in a pot. I don't imagine you would want to eat whatever's in the autoclave though...
